I have no idea where to post or ask for this since it's been out for like 2 seconds but here it goes.

I am an alumni of the university and I so want a theme for NIU. Any chance of getting one? You already have two schools from the same conference.

I have decided to go the minimal route this time and am use OD+ for a taskbar replacement.  I have one dock for a sys tray and one for a start menu/my computer/ 2 fly out folders/recycle bin/minize to dock area.  I have checked in the dock setting to optimize for memory but even with a few hours of use it spikes to over 40 MB of useage.  Any thoughts of bringing that down?

My current setup:

I am trying to download and install the newest Objectdock on vista but it won't install.  SDC just keeps redownloading the install file without ever extracting anything.

Any suggestings?

I am creating my Setember desktop to use and display on various forums. I have it figured out except for the icons. The theme is Cadoo with the toolbar from pearlthane. Now I just need a icon set to go with it. Any ideas?

This is what it currently looks like with the pix office set, as you can see that doesn't match very well:

Anybody notice the new beta of IP on stardock central? Looks like they are finally working toward a new release of IP 3.0. Just installed it and I must say it looks nice, I like the updates.

For those that know me and those that don't I have been a loyal user of windowblinds since the 2.x days and iconpackager since 1.x. I finally decided to buy a subscription to object desktop a little less then a year ago and it was a great move. I love using desktopX, right click, and enhanced dialogs. To say the least I like the software you put out and I have found myself defending those software titles on more then one forum over the last few months.

And yet I can't figure out why that ...

I know that most of us, myself included, don't use this program, but I do keep track of its development. On Jan 14, the beta of 3.0 was released, one of the major upgrades being the support of cursors, specifically the .cursorxp file format. Isn't that the format used by Cursorxp? I so hope this isn't going to turn into another iconpackager ordeal.

Any news that anyone can share on this?

So I have trying to figure out what to do with my life. As you tell by me last my entry, I am deciding what is my next step in my professional life? I haven't figure that out yet. But I think I have met a nice girl finally. We have a lot in common and we talk all the time. It's too bad though we live so far apart. But hopefully we shall see each other in March.

I always regretted not keeping in touch more with friend from high school. I do still talk with a couple. Jen has turned into...

So what to decide? How to figure out what direction I want to take my life in for the next few years? I know that I want to for a university and the only way to do that is have a masters degree. Which I am ready to pursue. But, how do I do that? Currently, my life doesn't allow my the time or money to take graduate classes. So, do I start looking for a new full-time job that would allow me the time/money to do that but take approx 4-5 years to accomplish my goals or do I go back and become...

It's been a few weeks now since I last wrote here and I thought it was time I tell you all about the team I work for. Chicago Steel are part of USHL, which is made up of 12 teams spread over the midwest.

For the sake of privacy I won't mention last names or specific injuries.

Coach Will: It's taken me a while to figure him out. He is an outstanding person who has a passion for hockey that I have never seen before. The more I have been around him I get the feeling that he is using the St...

I started with the Steel on August 20ish (truly can't remember the date) and I have been loving it. The road trips have been showing me the better part of the midwest and even some of the plains.

My 1st two weeks weren't all that great. It took me awhile to get used to working for a small athletic team and not for a school with multiple teams. We went through ordering supplies and it took me by surprise at how little supplies we actually needed to order.

Working with an amateur sports team...

Well, I suppose I will start this out. My name is Mike, I am 24 and a newly minted ATC. I finally landed my first real job, an ATC for the Chicago Steel.
As some may or may not know my planned job with DePaul University fell through at the last moment and I was without a job. But, I have some very good friends within the Athletic Training community and my ATC from college, Phil Voorhis, setup me up with the Steel.

So, that's it for the moment. I hope that others will post. I will continue to...
